We've seen too many online tools that claim to protect your privacy but still upload your data to their servers. Invio is different: there is no backend. Every calculation, every formatting decision, every PDF generation happens right in your browser using client-side JavaScript. There is no backend database holding your financial information — because there is no backend.
The only network requests the app makes are for loading static assets like fonts and images, and for anonymized analytics. No invoice content, client details, or tax figures ever leave your device. The source code for the PDF generation engine is open for review, and we welcome security researchers to examine it. One security researcher who reviewed our code told us he was surprised — and relieved — that we actually do what we say. We believe transparency about data handling is essential for building trust, and we're committed to maintaining the highest standards of privacy protection.
